Multi-State Education and Networking

August 6th & 7th, 2020 | Helen, GA

The Georgia, and Tennessee Chapters of the Realtors Land Institute hosted a Multi-State Education and Networking opportunity for RLI members and non-members. August 6th & 7th, at the Unicoi State Park & Lodge in Helen, GA.

With over 30+ attendees, our successful Multi-State event provided an excellent educational opportunity for land brokers and their affiliates.

The State of the Economy was headlined by KC Conway, ALC, CCIM, who gave us an in depth view of current economic factors that may affect the land market.

Ben Crosby, ALC, CCIM, shared his years of experience with Land Contracts, for listings and purchase agreements along with details on completing land contracts for varying transaction scenarios.

Tom Farmer, Co-founder 2nd Century Ag, started off our second day of the event, with a highly detailed presentation on Industrial Hemp and the benefits to land brokers of sourcing land for farmers.  Mr. Farmer discussed how state laws and guidelines can affect land owners who are exploring opportunities in hemp farming.

We are thankful to our presenters and instructors for offering their expertise to our land brokers so that they can stay abreast of an ever changing land market and provide the highest level of service to their clients.
